1. About these terms

In these terms, “NextMascot”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the business operating nextmascot.com. “You” refers to the person or organization using our website or placing an order. If you order on behalf of an organization, you must be authorized to do so.

Any specifications or special arrangements we agree with you in writing form part of your order. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

2. Website use and customer information

Please provide accurate contact, billing, delivery, and order information, and tell us promptly if anything changes. If you create an account, keep your login details secure and contact us if you suspect unauthorized use.

You must not use this website for unlawful activities, submit fraudulent orders, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access other customers’ accounts or information.

3. Product descriptions and appearance

Please review the product description, included items, sizing information, and any agreed specifications before ordering. Accessories shown in photographs are included only where stated in the product description or your written order details.

Colors may appear differently on different screens, and handmade costumes may have minor variations in texture, finish, or shape. These variations do not excuse defects or material differences from the description or specifications agreed for your order.

4. Orders, prices, and payment

Review the currency, product price, shipping charges, and total shown at checkout or in your written quotation before paying. For custom orders, the agreed quotation should specify the design, quantity, price, payment arrangements, and any additional requirements.

An automatic order receipt acknowledges that we have received your order. We will contact you if availability, payment verification, or an error prevents us from fulfilling it. We will not substitute a product or charge a higher price without your agreement. If we cannot fulfill an order and no alternative is agreed, we will refund the payment for the unfulfilled items and any associated undelivered shipping service.

Payment must be made using an available checkout method or the payment instructions confirmed for your order. Any staged payments for custom work must be agreed in writing.

5. Custom designs, measurements, and approvals

• Provide clear artwork, sizing information, wearer measurements, and any event requirements before we finalize your custom order.
• Review any design proofs and specifications supplied for approval carefully, including colors, proportions, logos, lettering, and measurements.
• Tell us about requested changes as soon as possible. Changes after approval or after production begins may affect the price and schedule; we will explain these effects and obtain your agreement before proceeding with the change.
• If you have a required event date, let us know before ordering so we can discuss whether the schedule is achievable.

Your approval of a design does not remove your rights if the finished product is defective or does not match the agreed specifications.

6. Artwork and intellectual property

You must own or have permission to use any artwork, logos, characters, trademarks, or other materials you ask us to reproduce. Providing those materials allows us to use them only as needed to assess your request, produce your order, and provide related support.

Purchasing a costume does not by itself transfer copyright, trademark rights, or a license to a third-party character. Any transfer of rights in newly created designs must be separately agreed in writing. We may decline requests that appear to infringe another party’s rights.

Website text, photographs, and design materials belong to their respective rights holders. Do not copy or commercially reuse them without permission or another lawful basis.

7. Production, shipping, and delivery

Production time and transit time are separate. Timing depends on the product, customization, order quantity, approval process, and destination. Unless we expressly agree to a guaranteed date in writing, any delivery estimate is an estimate rather than a guaranteed arrival date. This does not affect applicable legal delivery obligations or remedies for delay.

Please check your delivery address and contact details carefully. If you need to change them, contact us promptly; changes may not be possible once the parcel has shipped. Any additional charges for a requested delivery change must be explained and agreed before they are incurred.

If a parcel is delayed, missing, or arrives damaged, contact us with your order number and available tracking information so we can investigate and arrange an appropriate resolution.

8. Customs duties and import taxes

All NextMascot products ship with customs duties and import taxes covered. You do not need to pay these charges separately. If customs or the carrier requests payment, contact us for assistance. If you have already paid import duties or taxes for your shipment, send us the receipt so we can arrange reimbursement.

If your shipment is held by customs, NextMascot will provide compensation. Please send your order details and the customs or carrier notice so we can follow up and arrange compensation with you. See our Customs & Duties page for details.

9. Changes, cancellations, returns, and refunds

Contact us as soon as possible if you wish to change or cancel an order. The options available may depend on whether design work, production, or shipping has started, the terms agreed before purchase, and your rights under applicable law. We will explain any proposed costs and their basis; these terms do not establish an automatic cancellation fee.

Made-to-order or personalized products may be excluded from certain statutory change-of-mind cancellation rights where applicable law permits. This does not exclude rights relating to defects, damage, or products that do not match their description or agreed specifications.

For return instructions, see our Returns & Refunds page and contact us for the appropriate return address. Please do not assume that our business contact address is the return address. Any applicable return conditions and costs must be disclosed before purchase and remain subject to mandatory law.

If you receive an incorrect, damaged, or defective item, contact us with your order number and a description of the problem. Photos, where available, help us assess the issue. We will work with you on the repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy required by applicable law and the circumstances of your order.

10. Costume use and care

Follow the care and use instructions provided with your costume. Mascot costumes may restrict visibility and movement and retain heat. Arrange suitable breaks, hydration, and assistance, and avoid flames, excessive heat, and activities that cannot be performed safely while wearing the costume.

Unless expressly specified otherwise, a mascot costume is not protective equipment. Damage caused by misuse, unauthorized alterations, or failure to follow care instructions may fall outside remedies for manufacturing defects; your mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information used for orders, custom requests, delivery, and customer support.

12. Responsibility and resolving concerns

If you have a concern about an order or these terms, please contact us using the details below. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and the resolution you are requesting so we can review it.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable law protects these rights. Nothing prevents you from exercising statutory remedies or using a competent court or available consumer dispute resolution process.

13. Updates to these terms

We may update these terms by publishing a revised version on this page. Updates apply to future orders. The terms applicable when you placed your order continue to govern that order unless a change is required by law or you and we expressly agree otherwise.
